Graduate Assistant-Field Hockey

Ball State University located in Muncie, IN, a DI member of the NCAA, seeks a graduate assistant to work to assist in all aspects of the women’s field hockey program. To qualify, the graduate assistant must successfully enroll as a full-time graduate student. 

The primary responsibility will be to assist the head coach in all facets of the program. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Monitoring of student-athlete academic success
  2. Team travel and meal planning 
  3. Assisting with official and unofficial visits
  4. Game film upload and review
  5. Identifying, evaluating and recruiting prospective student-athletes
  6. Assisting with organization and planning of practices and game preparation
  7. Creating social media graphics and monitoring all social media accounts
  8. Logging of CARA hours and maintaining compliance through ARMS            

A bachelor's degree is required. Previous playing/coaching experience is preferred. Successful applicants must understand and abide by all NCAA, MAC Conference, University, and Intercollegiate Athletics rules and regulations.
