DEI Spotlight Recognition Nomination Form

Thank you for taking the time to submit a nomination for the NFHCA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Spotlight recognition program.

This program was developed by the NFHCA DEI Committee to recognize a field hockey related person, group, or organization in the United States making an impact in the DEI space through education, advocacy, and allyship. This vital recognition will be acknowledged twice a year in June and December. Nominees and nominators do not need to be NFHCA members. A subcommittee of the DEI Committee will chose the recipients and the DEI Spotlight honorees will be announced via blog post by the DEI committee.

Please submit your nomination by May 15 for consideration in the June recognition nomination pool and by December 31 for consideration in the January recognition nomination pool. Those selected for the recognition will be contacted for more information with a public release date in June or January.

NFHCA DEI Statement: The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) and its members are committed to fostering a welcoming and equitable environment where diversity and inclusion are learned, nurtured, expressed, and valued. We are purposeful in our pursuit to educate ourselves on systemic discrimination in all its forms in order to cultivate a culture of belonging. We seek to rebuild those systems with an anti-hate/anti-racist lens. It is through this lens that we persistently build a community based on empathy, acceptance, and respect.
